I loved this place. It’s on the lake so you can sit on the patio and watch for birds, including eagles, which live nearby. The dining area is casual and the servers were friendly. I really enjoyed my pulled pork and had their home made “tater salad” and baked beans. All was great. I also tried the banana pudding which was also very good. Certainly worth the little detour drive by Renfro Valley.

First time here . The cozy little restaurant , sits next to the boat dock , on Lake Linville , which is about 2 miles from , Renfro Valley . I had the BBQ pork sandwich , which could have fed two people , and my friend had their special , which was the fish and shrimp . Everything was very good ! They also , have a back porch , that sits next to the waters edge , where you can feed , the ducks , any leftovers ! Would , recently , if you are nearby.

Friendly quick service. High quality food. Family friendly. Rustic experience with beautiful surrounding scenery. On a lake front with a marina so it would be a great place to eat after a day on the water. We love finding small local places to eat on road trips and this was a great find!

A great home cooking place. Good food, clean and very good service. Enjoy the food, but also enjoy the views. Visit on 10/15. Very good! Service great food was delicious, I had the special . Visit 1/ 4, beautiful day and the food was delicious

I love the fact that we always end up in some one off place in our travels. I’m not big at going to franchise restaurants, so I found this off the beaten path and we had quite the cute little drive by a lake to get here. The food the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the uniqueness were well worth it. And some amazing southern cooking. You will love this place. The prices are good I highly recommend.

My husband and I were on vacation, driving between Lexington and Corbin. We were looking for lunch and found Back Porch. We had our two large dogs with us. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the lake view. It was a great sunny 60 degree spring day. The food was excellent! Good southern comfort food. Staff is very pleasant to chat with. Thank you.

The food was awesome. The meat had a good smoky flavor and was tender. It was cooked to perfection. The ribs may have been the best part of it all. They are the best ribs I've ever gotten from a restaurant.The chicken tenders were great too. And finally let's talk about the bbq sauce! It was sweet and delicious.
